There are two trauma bays and a trauma overflow room capable of handling up to five patients simultaneously.
A decontamination area with separate entrance can treat two patients at once. A rapidly deployable decontamination tent allows for treatment of higher volumes should the need arise.
The Emergency Department is a certified Chest Pain Center, to determine the cause of the pain, and, if necessary, provide fast, life-saving heart-attack treatment.
